Go Dog, Go

2017 brought another fun-filled 4th of July parade in the mountains.  Steamboat Digs Dogs marched to the whistles and applause from hundreds of dog lovers lining Lincoln Avenue.   Twenty dogs led the march to advocate for the improvement and expansion off leash recreation areas in Steamboat Springs.  Our group offered barks and howls, baton twirling, and lots of free dog-petting to the crowd of kids who were eager to interact with all of the dogs.  Huskies, Labrador retrievers, English bull dogs, a few oh-so-cute mini-me's, and a whole lot more stole the spectators' hearts.  After the parade, we headed to the river for a big splashy cool down, and then several of the dogs had a shady nap in the grass before the car ride home.
