Yee Haw! The Balloons Ride Again!

There were plenty of Steamboat dogs kicking it up at the 36th Annual Balloon Rodeo, where the early morning air of the condominium neighborhood quickly became electrified as visitors jumped out of their beds, grabbed their coffee and their dogs, and headed into the streets for a high-spirited balloon chase.  The corner of Whistler and Walton Creek Roads drew quite a crowd when one of the balloons landed there in grand vintage style--colorful bunting flying and flames roaring.  Fletcher, a black Labrador retriever puppy, and his family got to see the balloon up close and personal.  This was Fletcher's first rodeo.
